As a senior, there are a lot of things on my plate as I am nearing my introduction to the infamous "Real World". Unfortunately, making the choice between doing that Spanish quiz or going to the bar on Thursday isn't exactly what I'm talking about. Oh no, I'm talking about those life-altering decisions that will bombard me in less than a year.... I'm all geared up to graduate, but what the hell am I going to do after that? Luckily my parents have been on that... what I call hassling, they call looking out for my future. Yes I do want a successful career, but I don't think starting that job-hunt 6 months early while I'm still in college is the way to do it. Everybody got the same pep talk pre-college, the old "you have to think of school as your job, that's what you are there to do" talk, but little did I know that that would inevitably turn to the "you're almost done school, you have to think about getting a job" talk. So maybe I don't have the perfect job lined up, or I don't have any interviews scheduled, but I do have one more semester before getting fed to the wolves in the "Real World", and that is just fine with me for now....
